Leader: Give thanks to the Holy One, for God is good; God’s great love endures forever.
People: We say this as the ones that were redeemed from the power of our foes, as the ones who were gathered from all countries, from east and west, from north and south.
Leader: We wandered through desert wastelands, without finding our path. Life was consuming us with hunger and thirst. In our trouble we cried out to the Holy One, and God delivered us from our affliction.
Unison: Let us give thanks to the Holy One for God’s great love, for God’s wonderful deeds in favor of God’s people!

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God, we do not know how you never tire of calling us, when what we do when we hear your voice is to turn away. We worship the gods of money and egocentrism, without putting our minds on the things that matter. We do not leave behind the things that separate us from you, like corruption and greed. And we do not get rid of the things that damage our relationships like anger, rage, and malice.
God, put on us the new nature that we can only find in the redemption that has been given to us through Jesus Christ. Forgive our sins, and renew your image in us. Guide us to seek heavenly things, following the message and example of Christ. In him, and only in him, we shall find our life. Amen.

DECLARATION OF FORGIVENESS
God leads us with cords of human kindness, with ties of love. God lifts the yoke from our necks and feeds us. This is the good news of the Gospel: God forgives us time and time again. In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. We can live in peace.

We thank You, oh God, for your great love toward us manifested in these many ways. We pray special blessings upon our students, all students, and their represented families. Guard them, cover them, keep them in all things, and may we as a church family be sources of love and support along the journey. By faith, we believe that we will see Your hand at work in amazing ways. We thank You, oh God for your great love toward us! Amen.
*BENEDICTION
May God teach us to walk and take us in God’s arms, putting us against God’s cheek and feeding us. May Christ help us to stay away from all kinds of ambition and of thinking that life only consists of the abundance of possessions. And may the Holy Spirit help us set our minds on the things above and not on the things on earth. May the Triune God give us grace and peace. Amen.

Señor, no sabemos cómo no te cansas de llamarnos, cuando lo que hacemos cuando oímos tu voz es separarnos de ti. Adoramos a los dioses del dinero y del egocentrismo, sin pensar en poner nuestras mentes en las cosas de arriba. No dejamos atrás las cosas que nos separan de ti como lo son los malos deseos, y la avaricia. No nos deshacemos de las cosas que dañan nuestras relaciones como el enojo, la maldad, y los insultos.
Revistemos, oh Dios, de la nueva naturaleza que sólo podemos encontrar en la redención que nos ha dado Jesucristo. Perdona nuestros pecados y renueva tu imagen en nuestro ser. Guíanos a buscar las cosas del cielo, siguiendo el mensaje y el ejemplo de Cristo. En él, y solamente en él, hallaremos nuestra vida. Amén.

Dios nos atrae con cuerdas de ternura y con lazos de amor. Dios nos quita de la cerviz el yugo y con ternura se acerca para alimentarnos. Estas son las buenas nuevas del Evangelio: que Dios una vez tras otra nos perdona y nos da nueva vida. En Cristo recibimos el perdón por nuestros pecados. Podemos vivir en paz.
