Robust Love.

Embrace

We are an open, inclusive community of faith that welcomes all into the life and leadership of the church regardless of ethnicity, social status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Grow

We are formed by the insights of the Bible (as messy and problematic as it can be), but also welcome perspectives from our relationships with others and the spiritual traditions they represent.

Journey

We are a community that supports one another through life’s ups and downs and everything in between, as we encourage one another in the pursuit of love, justice and peace along the way.

Inviting Community.

Sundays

Every Sunday, Woodland gathers for worship in our century-old Sanctuary. Our worship could be considered traditional in style and progressive in content.

Our preachers vary from week to week. Someone similar to you probably preaches at Woodland! Woodland is a member of the PC(USA) and More Light Presbyterians.

Parking

There’s street parking on the Gartland St. side of our building and we also have a small lot that can be accessed from the alley on Gartland St!

Kids

Starting at 10:30a, we have an informal time for kids of all ages downstairs, as well as nursery care for infants and toddlers.

Connecting

There’s great ways to connect! Head over to our newsfeed to see our recent newsletters, subscribe online, and find our social posts.

Find us on Facebook or Instagram at @woodlandnashville. You also can find announcements posted every week on our bulletin page.

Serving

We seek to follow Christ into our community where we grow, learn, and listen to our neighbors.

You’re invited into our community no matter who you are or what you believe.

Open Arms.

All means all.

Regardless if you’re skeptical of Christianity or wholly convinced, we celebrate our journeys as a community. We’ve been in Nashville for 160 years. Evolving, changing, adapting is part of our DNA.

You’re invited each and every week to morning worship at 11:00 AM. There’s always a greeter or staff member with a smile to show you where to go.
