After careful monitoring of the COVID-19 case count and vaccination rate in Davidson County, the Woodland Session has made the decision to return to worship in the sanctuary each Sunday at 11 am. Safety measures, including mask wearing, will be in place. Learn more here. Woodland will also be streaming worship to a live Zoom call, where Woodland staff will be present to support our online community. Join via Zoom at this link. You can learn more about other opportunities to engage, learn, and serve in our newsletter. We look forward to continuing to worship with you each week!
Woodland Presbyterian Church is an inclusive community of faith seeking to share God’s love for all creation. We welcome everyone to the life and leadership of the church, embracing people of all races, cultures, abilities, sexual orientations, and
genders as expressions of the Divine. Together, we joyfully work to embody in our lives the love of Jesus Christ.
In addition to Sunday worship, we offer Sunday school, small groups, and other learning opportunities on a rotating basis. Together we dive into scripture, embrace social justice concerns, and wrestle with how to live faithfully in our daily lives. Our newsletter is the best place to found out about our current education and fellowship programming.
We are a community that supports one another through life’s ups and downs and everything in between, as we encourage one another in the pursuit of love, justice and peace along the way. In and outside of the church, we offer opportunities to serve others so that we can be good neighbors to each other.
Every Sunday at 11:00 AM, Woodland gathers for worship. Currently we are meeting in a hybrid format. We worship with progressive theology, traditional liturgy, and a come-as-you-are dress code.
There’s street parking on the Gartland St. side of our building and we also have a small lot that can be accessed from the alley on Gartland.
Children are welcome in worship! We also offer an informal time for kids of all ages downstairs, as well as nursery care for infants and toddlers.
There are great ways to connect! Head over to our newsfeed to see our recent newsletters, subscribe online, and find our social posts.
We seek to follow Christ into our community where we grow, learn, and listen to our neighbors.
You are invited to join us in service through partnerships with Saturday Night Supper and other local ministries.
All means all.
Regardless if you’re skeptical of Christianity or wholly convinced, we celebrate our journeys as a community. We’ve been in Nashville for 160 years. Evolving, changing, adapting is part of our DNA.
You’re invited each and every week to worship at 11:00 AM. There’s always a greeter or staff member with a smile to show you where to go.
